Jesse's Adventure Blog: The Old Floppies, Part Two

Well, that took longer than need be, but at least I've got 'er done now.

Coming Soon -- January/February 2012

The last entry like this I posted here didn't work out the way I had hoped, but I'll do another all the same.

TEXT PLAY: Final Fantasy 4 (SNES, 1991): Issue #20: Return Of The Fiends

This promises to be a bit longer and potentially more interesting than the last couple.

Another Pointless Post

Here's one thing I hate about doing this.  I'm talking when I don't have anything to say.

Something, Anything...

I've got no good ideas right now, but still feel compelled to post something all the same.

TEXT PLAY: Final Fantasy 4 (SNES, 1991): Issue #19: Anything Can Happen On The Moon

The best Toast King joke I can think of right now is about what Bahamut's Cave could be referred to.

TEXT PLAY: Final Fantasy 4 (SNES, 1991): Issue #18: You Will Go To The Moon

No boss fight this time around, but we'll get to one soon enough, dear readers.

Actual Effort Or Lazy-Ass Posting?

It's moments like this that make me wonder how I want to go about this whole blogging thing, anyway.

TEXT PLAY: Final Fantasy 4 (SNES, 1991): Issue #17: Side Questing Across The Underground, Part Two

This part will more than likely not be as long as the first Side Questing issue, but we'll be closer to some really cool stuff, and have two more summons for our trouble.

I Love Coffee

I love it to the point that I tend to overdo it just like so many other things in life.

D'uh, okay...

Not quite the post I had intended to make tonight, but okay, I guess.

TEXT PLAY: Final Fantasy 4 (SNES, 1991): Issue #16: JMShearer Opens Caves And Shit

I probably should have put a name from the party in the title, but I'm not sure how well the reference to Jory Caron's fan mail show would have worked if I had.

TEXT PLAY: Final Fantasy 4 (SNES, 1991): Issue #15: Side Questing Across The Underground, Part One

These two caves are probably my favorite areas in any video game I've ever played, visually speaking. I like the way Square made use of the SNES's graphics to make the honeycombed floors so that the floor beneath the one we're on is visible.

More About Fan Fiction

This time, it's something that really is embarrassing.

Pencil Sharpeners

I'm not sure why it always seems so hard to find good ones.

TEXT PLAY: Final Fantasy 4 (SNES, 1991): Issue #14: Bab-Il-on Two

What? Calling it Babylon Five wouldn't be correct! At least it's not another Star Trek reference!

TEXT PLAY: Final Fantasy 4 (SNES, 1991): Issue #13: Edge in the City Cave by the Tower

Two in a row where the title is a parody of one from the original Star Trek series. I've really had that on the brain lately.

Weird Weather

I wouldn't find the rain quite as strange if it wasn't New Years. And I wasn't living in a place where it usually snows this time of year.

Happy 2012, I guess

I'm a little late with this, but better late than never, right?
