A Little Fiddling With Consoles

So I did make a little time to goof around with some of my gaming consoles a bit here.

Like I was saying a couple days ago, I wanted to see if my older consoles still worked because I wanted to do some stuff with them while I'm trying to get some other stuff sorted here. They all seem to turn on, at least. I'll need to figure out how to get my PS1 set up so I can see what's on those memory cards and maybe get rid of some of the old save files. The SNES still works, too. Haven't touched that since I tried to do that Secret of Mana Text Play back in 2017. Could have sworn it was more recently than that, but maybe not. It's been a busy few years for a lot of reasons, after all.

As for what I'm going to do with this information, well, I've got a few ideas. For now, though, the most likely thing is having a second go at a Lufia and the Fortress of Doom Text Play. I managed to get most of the way through the game in 2013, then somehow managed to nuke the file on the cart. Not sure if it's that I just got a bad cart or if it's because my system's gotten too old like I was speculating at the time, or just what the deal was. Regardless, I'd like to have another shot at finishing the game, and this is a good excuse to do just that.

There are a few other titles I've got that I also want to do things like this with, but like I've been saying for awhile now, I'm thinking about maybe trying to do them as some sort of video stuff instead of written like what I've been doing for forever now if I'm serious about it, and I really need to get on with updating my rig here if I want to go that route.
