It’s some bad news, I’m afraid.
I got myself scammed out of my Bluesky account this last Monday, so I’ve been dealing with getting that sorted. It happened about the way you’d think, and it was a dumb thing for me to have fallen for it. I’m probably going to be out at least a little money, but that’s my own damn fault. Getting that mess cleaned up has been taking up a lot of my time and headspace, so I haven’t been writing as much.
One thing I should probably note here is that if you follow, or at least used to follow, me there and got any weird, scammy messages that appeared to come from me, they didn’t actually come from me, as I don’t have control of the account at present. I’m working as best I can to get it back, but I have my doubts about how successful I’ll be on that front.
For now, at least, I’ll be sharing my stuff on Twitter until I figure out what’s going on with all this stuff and how I’m going to proceed. I’m not sure where all this is going or how long it’s going to take, but I’ll try to give updates as I can.
