Last Bit Of Writing From My Oldest Laptop

This may be the last bit of writing I post from the very first laptop I ever had.

The thing’s starting to show its age and may not last much longer. That’s to be expected, though. I got it secondhand fifteen years ago, and there wasn’t much I could do with it. It’s still running Windows XP, after all, and that hasn’t had any public updates in ten years.

I’m not sure what I’m going to do with it when it finally gives out. It’s kind of like all the other tech I’ve got right now. Badly in need of replacement, but I’m not sure how I’m going to pay for it or what I’m going to do with the old stuff once I do.

But since this thing doesn’t seem to want to start about half the time when I try to turn it on, the time to ditch it is probably coming sooner rather than later. I just wanted to commemorate that while I still had the chance to. After I’m done this time around, I’m not sure how many chances I’ll have left.

If I keep doing as I do, I’ll probably have something to say when I get some of this done.
