My dad had hip surgery yesterday, and I want to wish him a speedy recovery.
The good news is that he seems to be on the road to recovery. I'm really hoping this works out well for him because I know his hip has been bothering him for quite some time now, and I hope this has gotten it fixed.
Now, of course, we're on to the hard part of all this: the recovery. I'm sure it won't be as bad as I think, because he's kept himself in better shape than I have, which is good. The expected recovery time is four to six weeks, so we'll see where we are this time next month.
