Cold Snap

First of the year, and it's awful.

Up until this week, it's been a fairly mild winter. The lows were higher than the average highs for this time of year. It was nice while it lasted, but I guess it had to end eventually.

Now we're going to have a week or two of more typical weather for this time of year. While I'm not exactly what one might call fond of cold and snow, it hardly seems like winter without it.

Once we get through what we've got coming the next couple weeks, it'll be enough for me until this time next year, and even then, it'll be too soon.
