Since it seems to be a thing again, why
not give Hollywood a few more ideas, huh?
So, here's an idea that came to me at
work the other day. Since we've recently had a feature film clearly
intended to be a Rock 'Em Sock 'Em Robots movie, and there's one
actually titled Battleship set to come out in there near future, why
not make a few more suggestions for our dear friends the movie
producers?
I'd seriously suggest “Monopoly: The
Movie”, but there's half a chance a movie like that would actually
be good. I liked “Clue”, after all.
Other games to make movies out of that
come to mind are “Mouse Trap”, where a band of adventurers has to
go through a house full of Rube Goldberg devices.
Or how about “Screwball Scramble”?
It could be a sports themed comedy about athletes trying to run a
race on an obstacle course full of weird barriers and pitfalls.
Moving on to video games, how about
“Marble Madness” or “Snake, Rattle and Roll”? Both are full
of mazes, monsters, and traps. Sounds like good adventure material
to me. And video games are still popular things to make movies out
of, right?
And, really, that's just a quick list,
folks. Feel free to come up with more. Maybe Hollywood will
actually do some of them. And maybe one or two of them will actually
be good.
